One aspect of the EoC that's not so often commented on is the side benefit that it provides to the skilling community.

In particular, by assigning resources to a slot in your action bar you’re able to continue dropping items as they are gathered, thereby increasing your rate of XP per hour.

This video from Regicidal’s YouTube channel gives some great examples of how Mining and Fishing, in particular, are positively affected:

Does anyone know if you're going to be able to create your own keybinds on the Action/Ability bar?

For instance instead of using 1,2,3,4 -- change it to like R,T,Y,U?

That will probably come when they release the ability to change the entire UI (User Interface) sometime next year with RS3. When RS3 comes you'll be able to customize your UI to look like you want it to be, so say if you want the mini map to be at the bottom left side you can place it there, if you want the actionbar to be at the top middle area you can put it there. It's going to be awesome!!

nah cab they already released for abilities on the action bar. I think it was just right clicking an ability on the bar and pressing a key.

19 seconds to drop a full inventory lmfao. With mousekeys I can do it within 3-4 seconds...Though it doesn't disturb your skilling now that's nice.

Oh wow that does sound awesome.. Looking forward to it -- in the mean time i guess we're all going to have to try and get used to using both extremes of the keyboard.. Lol.
