Clan Jaguar was founded in July 2001 by the then Adessil, who changed her name to fit in with the clan name, becoming Smoke Jaguar.
The Clan initially required members to create a new character with the Jaguar name, and as such members were few and reluctant. Paq joined the clan under the name Death jaguar, and advised Smoke Jaguar to relax the guidelines.

The Clan, then in it's Second age, began taking in members fast, growing remarkably quickly. The leadership of the clan grew to 6 leaders: Smoke Jaguar, Paq, Warrior2001, Lenno, thewood68 and Knowsfords.
During this Age, Clan Jaguar declared war on a rival clan, The Executioners, several times, but the declaration was never accepted, and a date never set.
This clan moved to a new board, and was continually harrassed by a clan making itself known as the "m00ers", but who never agreed to war, and thus remained no more than a thorn in Clan jaguar's side. In this site, certain Jaguars stood out such as White Jaguar, Shoe Leather, Nightflame, and 2hot2handle.

A return to Avidgamers came with a new attitude for the clan, one of a much more warlike and outgoing clan.

At the end of Spring 2002, Paq and Smoke were closing the DK3 Jaguar Site. In an attempt to keep the clan together, White Jaguar and Guaire formed the Newclanjaguar site in avidgamers. Many former Jaguars of the DK3 site moved to this new Avidgamers site. It was during this time of transition that White Jaguar was scouting for new recruits, and met Shakazulu. We met on the fishing docks and got into an argument, kept talking, and came to respect one another. I recieved the url for her site, and accidently came across the DK3 site where all the old posts of previous members remained. After registering to the wrong site, I decided to read the posts and came across Guaire's post on the new site. There, I proceeded and FINALLY applied to the proper Jaguar site!

I joined Jaguar and was given 1 of the lowest ranks due to my low stats and my inexperience in a clan. While there, I met Afro Lord, and recruited such members as Rabid Dawg, Rapt0r, Blood Mary, Korghal, Whatguy256 and many others who are now long gone. As much fun as I was having at the bottom of the clan, up at the top, things were stirring with the leaders (White Jaguar, Smoke Jaguar, and Paq). In June of 2002, Smoke Jaguar and Paq registered this site and moved the clan here with D4rksl4y3r and Warrior2001. With the aid of Afro Lord, I was able to move with everyone else to the new site and also brought my recruits along except Korghal who wished to proceed solo. I was not sure what to do without White Jaguar, so I spent a lot of time being active in the Jaguar forums as well as being active with Jaguars in Runescape (sponsering clan drop parties, assiting Jaguars upon completing the dragon quest, free gold nuggets, and free lobs). Commandants were placed in charge of Combat (1st~Ultima Sabre, 2nd~Lord Nuke), Resources (1st~Head 69, 2nd~Afro Lord, 3rd~Head 69), Food (1st~Maiden Jenny, 2nd~Diablorl), and Members (1st~2nd Amend, 2nd~Doom777, 3rd~Fahqu420); 2 colonels (Shoe Leather and Guaire); and 3 captains (Rapt0r, Diabloscuz, and Heliboy87).

Early allies included 2 ex Jaguars known as Cripta9 and Lord Nuke. Doom777 also joined Jaguar in June of 2002, and was also very active in the boards and in runescape. We were both ranked towards the bottom of the clan with the rank of Clansman. Paq felt that the leaders were getting rather lazy, so looked at the most active Jaguars at the time (Doom777 and myself) and promoted us to Jr. Leaders with some board/site moderation powers. Jaguars began taking in many active members during the next few months, including Kuja 22, Man Spike, D Mac, Dias, Diablorl, Kamta, Wilko, Lord Goro, Craigman4, Fahqu420 (retired from runescape), lMr Fishl, and even Lord Nuke rejoined Jaguars. I remember posting a deal to both Cripta9 and Lord Nuke that if they would return to Jaguar, that I would give them the rank of Colonel. Nuke laughed at that offer, but took it within a week due since Gallont was unable 2 recruit the people he was claiming he would, and the clan basically fell apart (The Untouchables).

During the month of July, Dias formed the White Mage Council and invited the Dark Angles, who upon entering the site, declared war on the White Mage Council. Jaguars were apart of the White Mage Council, and set the date/time and all that for the Dark Angles. After gathering members of Jaguar and a few members of the Gladz, (Shoe Leather joined Gladz around that time) including Acid Venom, Saiyan God, and AMER, we all proceeded to the northwest corner of the wild to fight. After waiting for about 10 minutes, it became evident that no one was coming, and AMER and Lord Nuke (Head of Combat for Jaguars at the time) began to fight. AMER nearly pks Lord Nuke, a number of times, until I was able to intervene long enough for Nuke to get away, which I felt, and still feel, was a sacrifice well worth it. Immediately upon my death, Man Spike took upon it himself to go against AMER and did fairly well, until Saiyan God was upset that the enemy didn't show and assisted AMER in pking Spike. I sent out orders to remaining Jaguars to leave the wild immediately, unfortunately those that ignored me and ended up remaining out there, got pked 1 way or another (Dragon30001, Goldz, Man Spike, and myself were the jaguar casualties). After that fiasco, there were about 1,000 flamed posts accumulated the next few days where Lord Nuke and I took responsibilty of that incident. Soon afterwards, Lord Nuke joined the Gladz, and Jaguars went through the months of August and September in what I felt was the time for reforms.

Smoke Jaguar redid all the ranks and Paq soon formed many new forums and even developed a nice squad system for Jaguars. Instead of a rank system with clansmen, captains, colonels, and leaders, the new rank system went to squires, knight errants, knights, the knight of the round, and leader ranks. With the current level restriction preventing many from joining Jaguar, Warrior2001, Paq, and D4rksl4y3r formed the Jr Jaguars where new members such as Cabola, Lucca13, and even Twicebron joined. Soon after Twiceborn joined the main Jaguars, he began providing some of the best prices for rune items at the time, assiting Jaguars in countless ways. Later on, Warrior2001 promoted me on the Jr Jaguar site into a Commander to help him lead the juniors. I eventually promoted Doom777 and Cabola into Commanders of the Jr Jaguars as well because there was no one else i trusted more than Doom (till this day actually) and Cabola was by far the most active person. As time went by, things began to look better in Jaguar, however, I felt terrible inside that White Jaguar was not here. It was not hard at all to convince Paq and Smoke to let White Jaguar in the clan, she was given a normal rank of a squire, and within a few months, was promoted to Jr Leader alongside Doom777 and myself :)

Time went by as usual, and in the month of November 2002, I finally got to meet Huyhuy. Although I've pked many times at that point, Huyhuy was the best pker I seen in Jaguar, next to Eiei0 and Jberox, but since Huy was pure at the time, I felt much safer pking with him because he was a lot closer to my combat level. The first thing we did was getting Muzzer96 and Criagman4 to join on a pk trip. The 4 of us pked for a while, and more and more Jaguars began to join us in pking like Kuja, Jerryrobbins, Alan14, Lord Goro, D Mac, Kamta, Rabid Dawg, Afro Lord and more(see photos below where Huyhuy is level 77 combat ~ rune chain red shirt). Soon afterwards, we began to have weekly pk trips every Friday night with purple cape colors, and other members became very active in runescape like Jaguar85, Davidnguyen, HC Steven, Jberox, Eiei0, Bpatt22, Thesmithy, Avenger29, Dneal03, Jerryrobbins, Egoreg, Pickels01, Maximus2208, Worldman2, Green Berets, Madhatter, Teten1, Sk8ter24, Kenohyng, Paulnuty2, Alija, Markram, Lord Atog, Delnara, Mikeshinoda, POD3, and David678.

Quietviper, an ex-Jaguar, formed the Dark Dragons and got his clan in a war with the Weird Vampires. Although only 2 Dark Dragons showed besides Quietviper, Jaguars force was too overwhelming for the Weird Vampires and was a Victory (Photo towards bottom where clan is wearing blue capes). Meeturpker, a member of the Runescape Army, formed The Wild Dawgs, and due some manipulations from Dias, Meeturpker declared war on Jaguars. A war location/date/server and cape colors were agreed upon, however, last minute intel from D Mac proved vital because The Wild Dawgs disbanded and later it was learned that Dragonusthei's new BDK was going to show up to fight Jaguars! After it was learned that the Wild Dawgs disbanded, the remaining fighting force went on a pk trip, which I decided not to attend. Later on, Jaguars' allies, the Runemasters, got in a war against a rival clan (sadly, I forgot who it was), all I remember was gathering about 20 Jaguars and we dressed in Red Capes and the enemy showed for about 10 minutes before the Runemasters and their allies utterly destroyed them at the level 11 chaos alter. Unfortunatly, there were some Gladz at the war who pked a handful of allies of Runemasters and, fortunatly, less then 5 Jaguars were pked that day. An allied leader of the Runemasters, Raisin2 of Saten's Elite Army, declared war on Jaguars because he believed someone in Jaguar pked him at the war. A flame war brokeout on Raisin2's public forum, eventually making the young child break down and fold his clan.

The next war was between another ally of Jaguar, The Mighty Red Dragons (TMRD), against a rival clan, called Rune Knights of Finland (ROFK). Supporting the TMRD, Jaguars wore red capes and the ROFK wore blue capes; it was an interestingly developed war because the 2 leaders of the clans agreed on a war with no hatred, like a friendly war! ROFK, funny enough, grouped together in edgville the same time Jaguars grouped together (TMRD grouped around Faldor) and it was noticed that ROFK was leaving early for the war. The TMRD/Jaguars/other allies went to meet at the Prayer house level 35 wild and engaged against everyone who had a blue cape and a few random pkers. About 15 minutes went by and all the blue capes were gone, all that was left were red capes fighting random pkers so I ran around and announced RED CAPE VICTORY! On the way out of the wild, we came across a few people wearing blue capes and chased them out of the wild; it was an easy win with only 2 jaguar fatalites (D Mac and Ibrokemyhand).

Aside from wars and such, the Jaguars held a tournament to see who which Jaguar is the strongest. I have photos below where Lord Goro faced off against Davidnguyen, Jaguar85 fighting against Davidnguyen, Lord Goro vs Deathsight4, and me beating Deathsight4. Indeed, it was a very interesting tournament, but we all knew that the final match would be between Eiei0 and Huyhuy. Unfortunatly, the first engagment between the 2 went quick because Eiei0 was not at his computer and got pked in less then 15 seconds! Upon returning to the level 11 alter, Huyhuy returned Eiei0 his items and as soon as they were both ready, they began a deathmatch that lasted anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes (prayer, food, and maging all that good stuff). In the end, Eiei0 got the win and was the Jaguar champion, and it was great getting private messages from both of them telling me how much fun they had and how great it was.

Time went by, like usual, more pk trips, more members joined, but trouble was just around the corner. Twiceborn was lacking the support he needed to hit rune smithing from our clan, so he left but remained for a few months as a clan friend. Razormansdev and Lord Atog became in charge of resources at that time since Razor had the highest smithing and Atog was our diamond ammy crafter. Atog became very dedicated to smithing, and upon Razor's request, recieved support from many clan members. Eiei0 even sponsered a fundraiser to get Lord Atog smithing supplies. Anyways, the clan was becomeing filled with a lot of active people (around 70 users would daily login) and I felt it was time to move the juniors into the senior site. Paq created the new forums and ranks for them and we transfered our juniors and closed their site. Upon that move, a new rank of Jr Commander was created for Cabola and D Mac, since they were the most active in helping the juniors out, naturally, Paq felt that they were best suited to lead them. For a brief time, I became a little inactive, and I called a small meeting between Smoke Jaguar and our 2 Jr Commanders was held where we discussed clan issues including the promotions of 2 more Jaguars. I allowed both Jr Commanders to each pick anyone Jaguar to be promoted with them, into a Jr Commander; D Mac promoted Lucca13 and Cabola promoted Swamp Cat. A few errors here and there began to appear, and then the bombshell hit Jaguar when Paq mysteriously left and both Warrior2001 and I were given full administrative access. Errors popped up left and right, squad rooms lost their security, and some of the forums would not work; eventually Smoke Jaguar came to the rescue and got the site in a stable state where we could still use it. Till this day (April 30th 2003), I do not know exactly what happened to Paq, but I sure wish he was back to get the site going like it was before he left.

Sometime after Smoke got the site working again, an ex-Jaguar was allowed back into the clan as an ally because he formed the Dark Phantoms. This ex-Jaguar was non other than Levitohott and within a few days of being allowed back into Jaguar, a flame war erupted where he declared war on us! This flame war that started from the Jaguar site spread to Levi's Dark Phantom site, an ally site (Dragonmasters), and even the tipit forums! Seeing how this war was going nowhere, I personally posted on Levi's board for all Jaguars to pull out (post was deleted i dont know why).

On Saturday, April 26th, 2003, the Runemasters once again needed assistance, this time against the much stronger Mystic Knights. The Intel for the war was poorly passed to me, and I organized about 40 Jaguars / friends of clan members to fight this war. Unfortunately, we arrived at the level 35 prayer house almost an hour early and random pkers decide to show up and fight. Too many random pkers where terrorizing those ready to fight, but when Liquidsky appeared, all hell broke lose. I fought against Liquidsky to assit Huyhuy, and was nearly 3 hit each time I went up against him. I BARELY ran out with 17 hp and ZERO food/prayer, and made the call to pull as many Jaguars out as possible. The death toll on Jaguar side was bad and it was later learned that both Mystic Knights and a few members of BDK showed up together.

On Saturday, May 3rd, 2003, Delnara held a p2p event for clan members in gathering Ugthanki meats. Delnara, Eiei0, Madhatter18, Jaguar85, Lucca, and Dias had collected a total of Ugthanki 537 meats. Flour, tomatoes, and onions have been gathered to complete the tasty Ugthanki Kebabs. After they have been made, the kebabs will be used for those members to train at the barbarian agility training course.

On Saturday, May 10th, 2003, the Jaguars allies, Rsmastaclan, had their war against the Blue Dragons. The Bluedragons were very easily destroyed due to the combined forces of Rsmastaclan, Jaguars, RSA, TMRD, and various members from other allied clans. Rsmastaclan and their allies wore red capes and Bluedragons wore blue capes. Unfortunatly, this war was held in server 9 and a different war with blue capes fighting green capes was held in server 10. I made the mistake of giving out the order to jump into server 10. Members of BoS were there including Snaka Slava, who had pked a handful of people that day. After dying to members of BoS, I gave out a command to Jaguars to pull out since that was not our war.

On Sunday May 11th, Eiei0 was promoted to a leader. Ever since I met him last fall, he always displayed excellent leadership skills and had always been active in both runescape and in the site. When knights in jaguar were squad leaders, he was the first Jaguar to be voted into a Knight to lead a squad, which to this day, he still leads. Ontop of being chosen to lead this squad, another vote was held shortly after we had 20 knights (Jaguars with over 80 combat or a noncombat skill of 85) and this vote was to determine the Knight of the Round. The Knight of the round was the highest rank a normal Jaguar can attain. Eiei0 won this vote, and held till this promotion into a leader. A new chapter has opened up for the clan with the addition of Eiei0 as a leader.

On Friday May 16th, the Rsmastaclan merged with Jaguars and became a squad known as The Rsmasta Jaguars. All Rsmastaclan members are being added to Jaguar and hopefully will enjoy their new home.

The future of Jaguar is looking promising due to a friend of Smoke Jaguar, Umbra, who is designing a new site for our clan. Paq registered himself at that site and can be contacted there. At the moment, it is still under construction, however, the site is looking to being very promising and I believe it'll keep the clan going for a long time. Upon completion of the new site, a few Jaguars will also help preserve this current one so that anyone may enter and view the vast archives of this avidgamers site. Paq also made a site that is very user friendly and that has an overall better layout then this current avidgamers site. The transition from avidgamers to php has begun! It's hard to imagine 2 years have gone by since Smoke Jaguar started this clan, and now it's entering it's 3rd year :)

Although this summary of my personal accounts of the past year are very limited, I was gracious to learn from Cripta9 and Lord Nuke on how to take screenshots. Below is a collection of photos gathered from my personal collection and clan members (both current and retired). I must thank you for taking the time for reading my experiences and I hope these pictures will help reinforce my words.

Towards end of May, an alliance was formed with a very respected clan, The Darq Syde, led by council members T Bop, Yamataka, Fordman, Alilshy, Twistedsis, and Jake Blues. They are a very good group of people, and their members have gone out of their way to help out Jaguars, even gave me tours of p2p runescape for me. A few ideas were taken from TDS that worked wonderfully in Jaguars such as the 3 word story game and the real life picture forum. In early June, T Bop married Yamataka, and 3 Jaguars attended the p2p wedding (Lucca13, Madhatter18, and Barrym). They moved from Avidgamers to Invision Forums in June, and with many thanks to Yamataka, I was able to continue my diplomacy with them at their new site.

Also in May, I met Crackerzac, a member of the Black Pantherz. We both tried recruiting each other into our clans, but decided on having Pow3r introduced to me. Upon meeting Pow3r, we agreed to have a fun war, under the conditions no allies or friends can show. On May 31st, 2003, Jaguars went alone to face Black Pantherz, who claimed to have about 15 people show. On the Jaguar side, we had about a few more then 15 people, and showed up at the level 35 alter. Black Pantherz stormed in from the north, and we were out numbered 5 to 1. Durring the battle, Eiei0 fought against someone over level 110 combat with a black cape, asked Pow3r if he's in Black Pantherz, and all Pow3r had to say was,"Lol, no". Till this day, Pow3r ignores us, and will never be able to face us like he did. The mistakes I learned was, if it is indeed a fun rune war, do not make it so the other clan has the advantage, set the terms so it's to your advantage. If you cant have the terms to your clan's advantage, then you're setting yourself up for failure. Last but not least, always keep your allied leaders informed of what you're doing, especially if you're going to fight a war to a rival clan.

In Early June, we moved into our new site at Webnessa, made by paq. Things went pretty smoothly there for 2 weeks. We had fishing trips at Catherby, more pk trips, a drop party, even started a deathmatches forum. Problems came about with a few members. Lord Nuke, after losing his main, focused on his pure, but reverted to trying to push limits of the leaders by posting obscene avatars and signitures, ontop of just being rude to most of the members of the site. Although Shoe Leather and K Blox got into Nuke's little stunt, we knew that Nuke was the source of the problem and had to ban him from Jaguar. Swamp Cat was becoming busy with both real life and being a moderator at another site, so she was demoted down to squire status, and Cabola picked Markram to be promoted into Jr Leader. Durring this time, Twiceborn hit 98 smithing, and provided smithing to many Jaguars. He even dontated rune items to the clan and we set up a system together. Clan members will report to me with rune ores/coal/natures and I'll give them the items. Then, I'll meet Twiceborn and get once a week and get my inventory restocked.
